Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This page explains what Istanbul Grapher collects when you visit the site, send a message or hire us for a shoot, and how that information is stored, used and shared. It applies to everything published at https://istanbulgrapher.com and to direct correspondence with our studio.

2. What we collect

When you submit a form on the site, we receive the fields you fill in: typically your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred shoot dates and a free-text message. When you write to us directly, we keep the email or chat thread so we can pick the conversation back up later. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts or behavioural pixels on this site.

We do not load any analytics by default. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future (for example Plausible or a cookie-free self-hosted equivalent), we will update this page before enabling it. The cookies the site sets today are limited to those strictly required for the site to render and remember your basic preferences — no marketing or cross-site cookies are written.

3. How we use it

• Reply to your inquiry and answer any follow-up questions.
• Schedule, plan and deliver your photoshoot.
• Issue invoices, contracts and any required tax paperwork.
• Retain your edited shoot files for up to 24 months so we can re-deliver them if a hard drive dies on your end.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data, ever. We share the minimum needed with a small set of processors that keep the studio running:

• An email provider that hosts the inbox at our domain.
• An e-signature tool, only when a contract is being countersigned.
• Cloudflare Pages, which serves this website's static files and logs basic request metadata for security and abuse prevention.

No advertising networks or data brokers are in this chain.

5. Your rights

Under the EU GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu), you can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your data when we no longer need it.
• Receive a portable copy of what you've sent us.
• Object to certain processing or restrict it while we resolve a question.

6. Image rights & shoot photos

The edited photos delivered to you after a shoot are yours to use — print them, share them, frame them. The underlying copyright in each image stays with the photographer, who may showcase a small selection in the studio portfolio, on social media and in this journal. If you would prefer your photos not be shown publicly, tell us in writing before the shoot or any time afterwards and we will quietly remove them from the portfolio.

7. Children

This site is not directed at people under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Family shoots are arranged through the parent or guardian who books the session.

8. Changes

When this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — anything that affects what we collect or how we use it — will be flagged on the homepage for at least two weeks before they take effect.
